# Career development

Investing attention and time in employees doesn't stop at the onboarding process.

In agreement with each individual in our team and understanding their professional aspirations, we craft their **individual development plan**. The idea behind such a structured and long-term people development plan is to guide our team towards reaching its full potential.

**Performance measurement** is also a part of the individual development plan. Before the performance review, each person fills out a review form, reflecting on the strengths and areas for improvement for themselves, their team, the team lead, as well as the entire company. This practice fosters a culture of self-awareness and accountability and helps us continuously improve Leapwise.

## **OKRs & additional education**

The main outcome of each performance review is the next steps, which come alive in the form of Objective Key Results (OKRs).\
\
Everyone in the team receives a set of 5 to 7 goals that are desirable to achieve on an annual basis, providing the opportunity for individuals to step out of their comfort zone, expand their current knowledge, and advance to higher positions.\
\
We always make sure to connect one goal from each career development plan with education in a certain field, in agreement with the employee. Consequently, we fully ensure globally recognized education and certifications for our team.
