Klara, our new Digital Marketing Specialist recently joined the team to manage and support our digital presence. We asked Klara to comment on her recent onboarding experience:
"The onboarding here is seamless. A big emphasis is put on first getting comfortable with your new environment and colleagues. During the first two weeks, you’ll take your time to get to know everyone one-on-one and learn exactly what their role here is. As part of Marketing, this step was incredibly important for me, as it allowed me to understand exactly how Leapwise and different teams work, and how the Leapwise values are reflected into every interaction here at the office. After gaining that broader perspective, you sit with your own team, and here is when you absorb as much of day-to-day activities, tools and information necessary to your own work. This kind of approach to onboarding that focuses on detailed, one-on-one knowledge transfer is truly the best way to start off your new job. It’s helped me better understand Leapwise and more easily connect with my new colleagues. I knew everyone’s names a couple days into my first week, and honestly that tells you everything if you’re aware of my usual inability to connect a name to the face."
